Zaepfel Development Company welcomes Tim Hortons as a new tenant. Tim Hortons has opened a new 2,960 square foot restaurant located at 9570 Transit Road in Amherst, New York. This is the 63rd location in the Buffalo market and the second Tim Hortons restaurant owned by Ben & Josephine Buscarino.
As a coffee and donut shop, Tim Hortons has evolved to meet consumer tastes, with a menu that now includes premium coffee, flavored cappuccinos, specialty teas, home-style soups, fresh sandwiches and fresh baked goods.
The chain’s focus on quality, freshness, value, great service and community leadership have propelled it from its first store in Hamilton, Ontario founded in 1964. As of December 2006, Tim Hortons system-wide restaurants numbered 3000 including 305 in the United States located in Rhode Island, New York, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, Maine, Connecticut and Massachusetts. The 3,000th store opened in Orchard Park, New York on December 14, 2006.
